Description

This 8.77 acres is located on the Deep River in Moore County and is about 15 minutes from Robbins. The property features a small shed, river access, and older timbers near the river. It has an active septic permit for utilities and needs a well. The surrounding neighborhood is farmland and older homes.

Access to the property is through an easement off of Caviness Town Road. The road is paved and state-maintained. The easement onto the property has a gate and is about a quarter of a mile from the property. It varies from gravel to dirt road. After a heavy rain it can be rough so would advise a 4×4 in those conditions. The driveway goes along the creek before crossing it once towards the end (there is a culvert that crosses over and is in good shape), and then the driveway continues down to the river. Once you get to the end of the driveway, there is a large washed-out area that has a walking bridge to get to the larger part of the property. At the top of the hill is a shed, and picnic table.

The property is only 15 minutes outside of Robbins, NC. 1 hour from Greensboro, Durham, and Fayetteville, and under 2 hours from Charlotte. It’s in a central location to many outdoor locations as well. Uwharrie National Forest is under 30 minutes away.

Directions

From Caviness Town Road right before it loops around you will turn right down an easement about 1/4 a mile to the property. There will be a little slope and a gate off about 25 ft from Caviness Town Road (please call before you go). The driveway is some dirt and some gravel and goes along the creek before crossing it towards the end. There is a culvert that crosses over and is in good shape and then the easement continues down to the river. It is actually an old road (Johnson’s Ford Rd). There are a couple of other places that you can cross the creek. There is also a small walk bridge added for a second crossing.

Depending on weather it can be wet so i suggest a 4×4.
